Accidental Adventures: Trekking through Muthyala Maduvu/Pearl Valley
Quick Facts & Current Status Location / start: Near Anekal, about 40 km from Bengaluru. Route / activity: Visitors can reach the permitted waterfall area. Do not continue beyond it; the farther route is not allowed. Hours / fee / booking: Current hours and fees have not been verified. Boating and Pearl Valley accommodation were available during my visit; check current availability before travelling. Current status / access: Water flow is usually low; during my visit the falls had noticeable water only when the small dam overflowed. I accidentally continued beyond the permitted area and found another dry falls area; that was a mistake, not a recommended route.
